Michael Bade

Michael is an assistant professor in the physical therapy program at the University of Colorado with over 10 years of experience in treating individuals after total knee arthroplasty (TKA) in the acute, home health, and outpatient settings. In addition to his clinical experience, he is board-certified in orthopaedics and is a fellow in the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists. He received his PhD in Clinical Science in 2012 from the University of Colorado with his area of focus on improving rehabilitation in individuals after TKA. He has given over 40 presentations nationally and internationally on this topic, has over 20 peer-reviewed publications, and has funding from the National Institutes of Health which supports his research in this patient population.
